BrokenScript.com is a site that provides URL shortening services. Unlike some other URL shortening service which appends illegible words in the shortened URL, BrokenScript uses a ’seed” or a ‘clue’ so that it is easier to remember.
BrokenScript is a URL shortening service that allows you to shorten long Internet addresses for easy reference. Long Internet addresses like http://search.microsoft.com/results.aspx?mkt=en-US&setlang=en-US&q=url+shorten+script is impossible to remember and always breaks when you send it through email.
By using BrokenScript, this long Internet address can be shorten to something like http://brokenscript.com?microsoft which is much easier to manage and remember.
Not only is the site providing the URL shortening service, the author is giving out the script for free. If you are a webmaster and would like to get hold of the script, you can download a copy from http://www.brokenscript.com/download.php. Just remember to retain the ‘powered by brokenscript’ footer link live.
